What’s the best way to get our hearts and minds ready for Sunday worship? These are some suggestions that we do every Saturday evening. 1. Read through the scriptures that will be used in the worship service with your family and draw out significant themes. (these are usually sent out in the weekly update along with the songs) 2.Sing through (or read through) some of the hymns/songs for that Sunday. 3.Ask God to prepare your heart (and the heart of your family) for worship. Pray for the Pastors - that the Lord would be gracious to them in their preparation. Pray for the rest of the body. 4.Try to guard Saturday evenings so that you and your family can take the necessary time to prepare and get to bed at a decent hour.
